"These Eyes, they see.
See the way you look at me
They watch your every move
Waiting to watch you caress my body
Wanting so badly to just shut and feel your every touch
But to my heart that would be just another bluff
These Eyes, they feel.
Feel love and lust but no more than pain or rage
Sorrow and Hopelessness fills their core
These Eyes have felt far too much for my age
I wish these eyes would feel no more
These Eyes, they long.
Long to be gazed upon
To smile and shed tears of joy and contempt
To feel like they’re the only eyes you see in the whole wide world
I must remind myself to stop thinking like a silly little girl
These Eyes,
Have shed tear after tear hoping that someone would heed their cry.
But no one will listen and these eyes are left to die.
They have suffered a great deal, and they just wish to heal and feel as they did when they were much younger.
These eyes can bear no more, and they don’t have much longer.
These Eyes, they’ve shut.
